Oath

As a Grill Master I will consider as dear to me, as my family,
those who taught me
the art of
Grilling and Bar-b-queing.
I will always show respect to the fire,
to the grill
and
 to the food which we have been called to prepare.
I will only serve the best food possible
And
I will never offer any food that could be
considered harmful or distasteful.
All that may come to my knowledge from being a Grill Master,
which ought not to be spread abroad,
I will keep secret and will never reveal.
I will strive to preserve
the
Art of Grilling
If I keep this oath faithfully, may I enjoy my life and my art,
and
may I be respected by all men  of all times;
but if I sway from it,
may the reverse be my lot.
